The Gay Straight Veterinary Alliance (GSVA) is hosting its annual drag show this Friday, December 6, 8PM, at Five Nightclub located at 5 Applegate Court in Madison, Wisconsin. All proceeds from this year’s show are going to benefit Proud Theater. The cover charge is $5 at the door, but tips for the performers are encouraged!!! People 18 and up are welcome due to the adult nature of the show, however those under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent in order to enter.
The GSVA (Gay Straight Veterinary Alliance) is an independent student organization that strives to promote awareness and acceptance of all individuals associated with the UW’s School of Veterinary Medicine. The GSVA has been around since 2007, and this year is their 4th annual drag show. While proceeds from the event have in previous years gone to assist the AIDS Network’s pet food pantry, this will be the first year Proud Theater is spotlighted. As in the past, the show promises to be a rollicking fun evening of adult music, dance and drag performances.
